4. Why am I getting the error message “We have detected that you are playing from a restricted state?” How do I resolve this issue?

You will get to see this message whenever you will try to play rummy on RummyVerse using an internet connection whose IP address is located in any one state among Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Sikkim, Nagaland, or Telangana. These are states where the law has banned cash rummy games from being played. If you live in any of these states, you can still play free rummy games offered by RummyVerse.

5. I am not playing from any restricted state but still getting the error message “We have detected that you are playing from a restricted state.” Why?

You need not worry if you are getting the message. If you are playing from a location outside of any of these banned states: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Sikkim, Nagaland or Telangana, but still getting this error message, please send us an email at [email protected] with an unedited and clear copy of the following documents, along with the acknowledgement below, for the verification of your KYC:

1. How can I view my Deposit Balance and Withdrawable Balance?

It is easy to check your Deposit & Withdrawable balance. Here are the simple steps to do in the mobile app:

2. How do I change my bank account details?

You have full freedom to change your Bank details. A simple way to do that is by placing a new withdrawal request. When you have done that, follow these steps to make the changes in the app:

2. 2. In the sidebar, tap on "Withdrawal."
3. 3. Tap on "Request Withdrawal."
4. 4. Add the details of your new bank account and request a withdrawal.

In a short period of time, it will be completed from our end.

3. Are there any restrictions on placing Withdrawals?

Woohoo... you will be happy to know that there are no restrictions on placing withdrawal requests!

But please make a note of the following to avoid rejection of your withdrawal requests:

1. 1. Ensure that your KYC is verified.
2. 2. Withdrawals into any bank accounts located in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Sikkim, Nagaland, or Telangana are prohibited.
3. 3. Withdrawals will be processed only if valid identification is provided. If the withdrawal amount is ₹10,000 or more, providing PAN is mandatory.

4. What are Deposit Balance and Withdrawable Balance, and how is the balance in each account calculated?

If you are a cash player on RummyVerse, your balance is divided into two accounts: Deposit Balance and Withdrawable Balance.

The Deposit Balance includes all the amount you have deposited and all the amounts you have earned as bonuses. The Withdrawable Balance includes all the amounts you have won. Your total cash amount is the sum of the balance in your Deposit Balance and Withdrawable Balance. You can use all of this amount to play cash games on RummyVerse at any time. For example, if your Deposit Balance is Rs. 100 and your Withdrawable Balance is Rs. 400, your total balance will be Rs. 500. You can use all of your balance to play cash games and tournaments but you can withdraw only the Withdrawable Balance, not the Deposit Balance.

1. How do I add cash to my RummyVerse account?

Hey Rummy player, it is extremely easy to add cash to your account in the RummyVerse app. Follow these steps in the mobile app to do a deposit:

1. 1. Log in to your account and tap on the “My Account” tab.
2. 2. Enter the amount of your choice (it should be more than Rs. 25).
3. 3. Enter the bonus code, if you have any. You can also pick the bonus code by tapping on the drop-down button.

2. How do I withdraw cash from my RummyVerse account?

Withdrawing your cash winnings is an important activity you must perform. The process to withdraw cash from your RummyVerse account is an extremely easy one. But, you can only withdraw an amount that is equal to or less than the amount shown as your Withdrawable Balance. Please note that your Withdrawable Balance should be Rs. 100 or more for a successful withdrawal request.

Follow the steps in the mobile app to withdraw cash from your account:

2. 2. Tap on the “Withdrawals” option.
3. 3. Enter the amount and fill in your bank details/UPI details.

3. What is the minimum amount that I can withdraw?

You can withdraw a minimum amount of Rs. 100 from your RummyVerse Withdrawable balance/wallet. If your withdrawable balance is less than Rs. 100, you won't be able to place a withdrawal request.

4. What is the maximum withdrawal amount?

You will be glad to know that you can withdraw the entire Withdrawable Balance available in your account at any time, but only if it is more than Rs. 100, as that is the minimum amount for you to withdraw from your RummyVerse account's withdrawable balance/wallet.

5. Are there any charges for cash withdrawals?

Hey Rummy player, rejoice! There is no processing fee, nor do we charge any money on any of your withdrawal amounts.

6. What are the eligibility criteria to place a withdrawal request?

If you want to place a withdrawal request, you must do the following 2 things:

1. I don't know how to play rummy. How can I learn to play rummy?

Hey, no worries if you don't know anything about rummy. It is so easy to learn rummy that you will begin to play Indian rummy in a day! Let's start with the absolute basics. Rummy is played between 2 to 6 players at a time using one or two standard card decks. Each player is dealt 13 cards in hand and the remaining ones are used to form the closed deck that is kept at the centre of the table. When the game begins, each player picks a card from the closed deck and discards an unwanted card from their hand into the open deck to create different combinations of sequences/sets. The game continues until a player melds all his/her cards and declares, which prompts other players to declare theirs too. If the declaration made by the first player is valid, they win the game. The remaining players gain a penalty on the basis of ungrouped cards in their hand.

2. What is the Joker and what are Wild cards/Wild jokers?

The one factor that sets apart Indian rummy from many other rummy variations, is the Joker. It is the quintessential card in an Indian rummy game. It is used to replace a missing card in a sequence or a set. There are two types of jokers used in Indian rummy: Printed and Wild cards. Printed jokers are readily available in a standard deck. A standard deck is of 52 cards, you get 1 or 2 additional joker cards that are printed jokers. A wild card joker is selected randomly at the beginning of the game. For example, if 5♠ is picked, then all 5s from other suits too become wild jokers of that game.

3. What is Draw and Discard in rummy?

When players begin playing a game of rummy, they basically do two activities: Drawing and Discarding. Drawing the cards involves picking cards from the closed or open deck on a player’s turn. After a card is drawn, it is necessary to remove an unwanted card from the hand, as the total cards in the hand must always be the same. The unwanted card is thrown into the open pile. This is known as discarding. Drawing and discarding are crucial as these activities help to arrange the cards into relevant combinations.

4. How do we deal/distribute cards in rummy?

When it comes to the dealing or distribution of cards, you need not worry. In online rummy, this activity is done automatically. RummyVerse uses an RNG-certified software program, which gives a random seating arrangement to players and then, completely random cards are dealt to the players. This ensures that all the players get an equal opportunity to win the game.

5. What is a Drop in rummy?

If you feel like leaving the table at any time during the game, you can do so! You get the option of a 'Drop'. When you drop out of a game before playing the first card, then it is the 'First Drop'. In this case, you will get only 20 points (25 points in 201 pool rummy). When you drop out any time after playing the first card, then it is called the 'Middle Drop'. Here you will get 40 points (50 points in 201 pool rummy). In deals rummy, you don't get the option of dropping out.

6. What is an Invalid declaration?

To win a round of rummy, you must show your cards to your opponents. This is called declaring. Be careful as you cannot declare your cards at any time. Here are the requirements for a successful or valid declaration:

1. 1. Minimum one pure sequence.
2. 2. One more sequence (pure or impure).

The rest of the cards you can arrange in any sequences or sets.
If the above 2 sequences aren't present in your cards, you will end up doing an 'Invalid Declaration' and you will get the full count of 80 points.

7. What is the difference between Practice Games and Cash Games?

Practice games and Cash games are the two types that you can play on RummyVerse. In Practice Games, you don’t need to deposit any money - you can play with free practice chips.
